The 2011 Canada Winter Games are being hosted by the City of Halifax, Nova Scotia from February 11th – 27th, 2011. This will be the largest multi sport event in Nova Scotia’s history and Halifax’s first Canada Winter Games. Halifax last hosted the Games in 1969 with their sister city at the time Dartmouth.

Team Newfoundland and Labrador will feature 14 teams in 13 sports during the two weeks of competition. Our team is in the final preparation for the Games with final team selections, competitions and camps leading up to the Games. Our delegation of some 275 athletes, coaches, managers and mission staff are anxiously waiting February, 2011.
