  Point Amour Lighthouse
Point Amour Lighthouse This tallest lighthouse in Atlantic Canada is still a functioning lightstation.  Climb the 109 foot tower - only the last two flights are ladders!

See the wonderful view and sometimes, even icebergs and whales.

Tour the former lightkeeper’s dwelling with its restored rooms and its displays on lighthouse technology, shipwrecks and the people of the Labrador Straits.

Meet the interpreters in period costumes who will guide you through the story of the lighthouse and other compelling chapters in the history of this part of southern Labrador.
